Ms. Jaliea Barnes transitioned into her Masters arms on August 8, 2020. A walk-through viewing will be held Friday, August 14, 2020 from 1 to 5 PM at the Brunswick Funeral Home, Inc. 2700 Albany Street. Additional viewing will be from 9:00-10:00 AM, Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Greenwood Cemetery 3004 Newcastle Street Brunswick, GA, with graveside service to immediately follow at 10:00 AM. Face coverings are required and the state's social-distancing protocol will be observed. The procession will leave from 2803 Albany Street.

Jaliea was a current student at Edward Waters College majoring in Communications with future aspirations of working at Tyler Perry Studios. She was a fun, lovable young lady who loved Shucks Seafood and watching movies with her mom. Due to her bright smile and loving personality, she always made a lasting impression when meeting new people. She had a passion for learning and gaining new experiences inside and outside of her community, which led to her involvement in the following extracurricular activities:
