LIZZIE MAE MACK

Mrs. Lizzie Mae Mack died Tuesday April 2, 2019 at the Southeast Georgia Health System-Brunswick Campus.  Public viewing will be held from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. Friday, April 12th at Brunswick Funeral Home, 2700 Albany Street.  Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Springfield Baptist Church, 676 Myers Hill Road, Brunswick Ga., 31523; interment to follow in Fred Blue Cemetery. The body will Lie-In-State 1 hour prior to the service. The procession will leave from 527 Myers Hill Road

On April 2, 2019 the trumpet sounded, and angels were dispatched to take Mrs. Lizzie Mae Mack to her new home to join her late husband and two children, Josephine Harrell, and Robert G. Mack III, who preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory a family that love her so dear and will carry on her legacy; four daughters, Delores Harris (Shelton), Cheryl Raiford (Lee), Brenda Bailey (James, preceded in death), all of Brunswick, GA and  Cynthia Williams (Willie), Gainesville, FL; two sons, Michael Mack (Carmen), Brunswick, GA, Eddie Nails (Ruby), Ellenwood, GA; granddaughter whom she raised, Artia Mack, Brunswick, GA; three children she reared during her time of employment; Ogden Persons, III, (Maureen) of Macon, Jim Persons (Mary Jack) of Atlanta, and Katherine Persons Kelly (Bill) of Richmond, Virginia; a three  sister-in laws, Beatrice Lecount, Tucson, Arizona, Margaret Wright (Gibson), St. Augustine, FL, Vanessa Thomas, Jacksonville, FL, one brother-in law, Tommy A. Sanders (Sandra) , Fernandina, FL; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great children; two god children, Charlotte Williams and Rosemary Williams, four special nieces, Margie Clinch, Nancy Calhoun, Gertrude Maxwell, and Mary Mack; special cousins, Clyde Lockley and Catherine Fleming (whom she was raised with as a sister), a very dear friend, Mrs. Annette Williams, Gainesville, FL, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
